I understand you might be disappointed, but I am disappointed too of a 1 star for the print profile. Does the model enter in a 50 mm hole? Yes. Please judge the print profile instead of your expectations of how the model it should be.
Bruh, are you serious right now? This isn’t about my ‘expectations’—it’s about the fact that your model SUCKS. A grommet that’s supposed to fit a 50mm hole should actually FIT. Not wobble around like a cheap carnival toy. Don’t blame me for your garbage design. Maybe spend less time whining in reviews and more time learning how to measure properly. 1 star STANDS.
I accept your viewpoint. I will improve the model following all the suggestions I got so far. However, I have to say that 308 downloads, 206 prints, and 16/19 of 4 stars or more probably mean something too.
Thanks for the rating! For the texture of the print bed I really like the one of the PEI bed - like in your picture. Obviously it's just a matter of personal taste (and available plates...).
super recommend printing at a higher infill % and/or more walls. These worked great but if they didn’t fit the hole perfectly and I had to squeeze a little, they would snap 😅
The model take into account a gap for a "not-too-tight" tolerance. If you make a 51 mm hole you increase the gap of an additional 1 mm (i.e. the 50 mm model needs a 50 mm hole, not 51 mm). The fact that you have been able to use my 55 mm version instead of the 50 mm means that the hole you made was even bigger than 51 mm (which can happen if you accidentally rotate the drill while making the hole). However I would like that you rate the print profile instead of your user experience with the object. After all you have been able to print both models and use them.
