A beautiful flower just in time for spring!
Long lasting, and doesn't need any water
This flower uses 1.75mm raw filament as its stalk
One plant consists of 4 flower "heads" and 3 leaf connectors and the stalk filament you cut to your own length.
Since i dont have any AMS, and i only had transparent PETG filament, i coloured the flowers and leafs by painting the filament with paint markers
I recommend using AMS and different colours of filament instead, it will be easier and better.
Also, the extruder may need cleaning afterwards
But if you want to do as i did, you need to print the profile with one plant, and paint the filament like this:
Paint the first 90cm green (for the leafs and the bottom of the flowers)
Paint the next 140cm in the colour you want the petals to be. For example, if you want the start of the petals to be red and the tips to be blue, you paint red first ( 100cm), and blue last ( 40cm).
See the last 3 pictures for this example.
Printing the print profile uploaded, the leafs will print first, and the flowers last, for correct colouring when using the painted filament method.
Print settings:
No Support
3mm Brim on outside only
Arachne on
I found the best quality to be around 15mms speed, but if you find some better settings, please leave a comment!
