Copying a key is as simple as having magnets and using the original key to identify polarity and magnet placement. Not all slots may have magnets when holding the key by the central ridge facing upwards. Once we know the magnet placement, we proceed to print (using a brass nozzle). We need to program a pause at the top closure point to avoid damaging the printer or the magnet. When the printer has stopped, we place the magnets in their designated spots and resume printing.
Neodymium magnets of 5mm X 1mm.
