Description

A desiccant container to place inside filament reels when they are being stored in plastic bags.

50mm diameter and 64mm high to fit inside standard Bambu reels and many other makers reels. I can easily produce differently sized versions if requested.

Uses just 20g of filament and prints take about an hour.

Slotted areas are sized at 1.5mm width so suitable for desiccants with a granule diameter of 2mm and above.

NOT suitable for use in the AMS as the container does not lock into the reel.

Prints with support enabled but if orientated as in the supplied profile the only support used is in the lid pinch area and this is easily removed. It looks almost solid when printed but if you pry with, preferably, a pair of fine nosed pliers the two support areas usually detach in one piece and with minimal force.

If printed correctly no post processing is required. The lugs on the lid are rotated by 60 degrees to lock so even if it moves slightly the lid is unlikely to detach.
