Bird Cage Water Bottle Dispenser / Sugar Gliders

This is a bird cage water bottle dispenser for cages with narrow bar spacing. It is specifically designed for this water bottle:

My wife said the holder included with it doesn't fit the bars very well of her sugar glider cage and asked if I could print something better. This model is my result.

Printer: Bambu Labs X1C + AMS

Filament: Bambu Labs PETG

I printed the “lock” in a different color, but you can print them both the same. Both are PETG. I enabled “print by object” in the project, so the “lock” prints first, then the holder itself.

To use it, just slip the lock support through the cage, and slip the lock into place. It is sized for a cage that has 2mm diameter bars, spaced about 8mm apart (about 5/16 in). Push the lock in place and it should support the dispenser without trouble.

I originally printed the lock with a bit of tolerance included, however, I found that 0 tolerance worked best, so that is what is modeled in the design. If you need a lock piece with a bit more tolerance, let me know and I can upload one with a bit more clearance to slip into the lock support.
