Description

This raindrop shaped birdhouse consists of 3 printed pieces for an extra beautiful result. Because you can unscrew the house yourself, you can clean the inside. There is a hole provided for you to insert a wooden stick for a nicer result. The print time is 4h 26m and it is 176,26g material.

put the 3 parts together and insert a rope with a knot through the hole provided and hang the bird's nest in a tree.

! Support is printed inside the top, don't forget to take it out !

Great profile, but even without resizing, the twist lock was too "tight" to work. Had to use the dremel to shave the corners off a bit. Otherwise, great print.

Thanks for the comment. When I print this birdhouse on my p1p it fits perfectly. Do you use a bambulab printer? I will make a slightly looser version so that it fits everyone better. How much looser should the print be?

Sorry, just saw your reply. I have an A1 mini and have printed this 2x with same tightness. I ended up taking the rounded corners off the bottom piece to allow them to lock in easier. great design so I wouldn’t mess with it just yet. hope to have an A1 soon and maybe the bigger bed will print differently

Printed great, had to trim the notches so it would fit together, it’s super tight. would also be great if a 3d printable perch was added to the profile!

Hello, I will make a slightly looser version so that it fits better (for some it does fit perfectly, I think it depends on the precision of the printer). How much looser should the print be? What do you mean by a 3D printable perch?

simply just the rod that goes underneath the hole :) I think it’d be cool if you just made it to where that was included but I found one that worked! fantastic print thank you :)

Interesting that I printed all three pieces at 130% and now the bottom doesn't fir with the top. LOL Oh well, it's a good print. Going to try the bottom piece again at 130% (maybe I printed it at 100% thinking I resized it).

one of my favorite models. made bird houses in light blue for Mom and Grandma. could use some tweaking on the supports and I needed to file just a little bit to get it to fit right but overall it's an awesome profile

Beautiful print. I will definitely be printing again. I just need to measure the hole for the dowel so I can get it up in one of my trees today. I have a lot of nesting robins in my yard right now.
