You have your pride
You're standing your own ground
Your dignity will never go
And your mind is pretty sound
I love Steven Wilson's music, and so I created a set of 3D printable abstractions to represent his discography.
This can be used as a beverage coaster, or just for display. It is square like a CD or vinyl album sleeve.
While not a solo Steven Wilson record, I decided to include this recent album too for its significance, music, and easy-to-print cover ;)
I simply removed the branches photograph and kept just the minimalistic square with the text “P/C C/C”.
If you like Steven Wilson's work, don't miss my other album covers.
Printing slowly helps with definition of letters and to reduce imperfections, 20mm/s for example. Input shaper ok.
Infill at least 15% to hold top layers or text above, but you can play with patterns and higher percentages.
I didn't use brims or rafts, but you can if you experience warping, especially in the square corners. Temporary water-based adhesive is useful too.
I printed the one you see in my photos switching from black to white, with full top layers of monotonic lines for a clean, simple finish.
