Hi, i made this as we needed an adapter for my garden hose, especially when using hot / warm water for filling the paddling pool for my kids, and then spraying them.
it fits my pull out kitchen tap grohe 30531001 https://www.grohe.co.uk/en_gb/start-single-lever-sink-mixer-1-2-30531001.html but should fit any grohe product including shower that has the same fitting.
so the part on the grohe seals by a tube sliding over an o-ring. i didn't want to print my adapter to fit the threads of the grohe as the plastic would have needed to be quite thin and printing on fdm prints would be very weak in this situation so i made my own device.
i could have made the plastic end to fit directly into a standard hose pipe connector shape. but i purposely didn't and left that for a metal peice as i wanted thick walls and strength which unfortunately fdm prints are weak in thin areas.
please print in petg or other plastic which is more heat resistant than pla.
parts you will need is a standardrubber washer that your 15mm /half inch tap connector uses and https://amzn.eu/d/hUO8DsD
so basically you dovetail the nut together and pull it onto the adapter.
i printed in thick walls to try and make as waterproof as possible even under pressure
if it helps you amazing!
