Description

Compatibility:
A wing holder, compatible with C-00180-005 and C-00180-005-2. This is used by most, if not all team Corally 6s RC cars. I have the Punisher and it fits on there. Because my wing would touch the tops of my shocks, I also raised it a bit.

Durability:
I have used this for about half a year now, the stock ones ripped after a couple wheelies and crashes. As you can see by all the scuffs on the pictures I am not too careful of a driver. I have crashed with this a lot of times and they still don't show any cracks. The part on top of the wing, that sort of “clamp”, also quickly broke. For that I have used some wood with holes drilled in it.

Although I never had this, I will give a disclaimer: With a lot of RC cars some parts are designed to break intentionally, so that other, more expensive parts stay intact. This could be the case with this part, meaning that if you would crash hard and not break this part, the stress would go further in the car and might for example bend the shock tower. This is very unlikely though and I never had this happen, but I just wanted to give a warning also because the different models have different weak points.

Print instructions:

I haven't tried in in PLA, but it's probably to brittle. I printed it in PETG, with 5 or 6 walls and 25% infill. So if you want the same durability as me try that. You could also try something like PP-CF.

The holes are 3mm, so they have no tolerance. This is so the screws can tap their own threads. After you printed them you can insert M3 bolts in the cavity, you could do one or more. Then tighten everything down. If you don't have any bolts you can try it without, but I think with a bit of stress the bolts will just tear trough the filament. You also need two M3 bolts, they are longer then stock to prevent ripping through the plastic. The length to the nut slot is 18mm, so add your wing and wing washer thickness to that for the length of the bolt.

EDIT: when revisiting my older designs, I realized I made the nut slot ridiculously long. I made it shorter

I can't find the exact wing holder parts for those, but looking at it it will definitely fit the Kagama. For the Asuga I am not sure, the part that I replaced with this model is different, and I believe it uses M4 instead of M3 screws. The rest of the wing holder is the same so maybe it could fit. But its a cheap and fast print so you could always try. If it indeed uses M4 screws I could alter the design for you to fit that.
