Description

I saved the lid from the cooking pot today

I changed the handle (https://www.printables.com/de/model/55816-pot-lid-handle) and put an M5 nut in there. This is how you can tighten the screw properly

I have linked my changed model and original below (thanks to the designer of the original for f3d file!)

Don't forget to set m5 nut after 20mm print (Colorchange). You will need m4x30mm screw for this handle.

Better print it in ASA/ABS! 15% infill and 3 shells..

Happy printing! :-)

Hello andrej.I, thank you for you message! Most of makes (many on printables) was print with ASA, which shrinks. And yea - the nut had a play in there but no issues. How i see on your pictures - you printing it in PETG? It shrinks not so much like ASA, maybe it was a problem.. But, I updated the version - it now fits better for m5 nut if you print it with PETG (shrinking is not so big like with ASA). The earlier version probably had too much play for PETG prints. Now it should fit very well for ASA/PETG. Thank you for your message and downloading! :-) Ed
