The pins that hold the wheels on my dishwasher rack are getting brittle and breaking. The wheels are falling off the rack. In my procrastination, I even lost one of the wheels that fell off. Replacement dishwasher racks are expensive.
This model is in two parts, the dishwasher rack wheel, which you probably will not need if you don't loose your wheel when it falls off like I did, and the wheel pin, that fastens the wheel to the dishwasher rack.
Easy to install, just put the pin through the wheel and push into the hole in the dishwasher rack. It should snap right in.
Print top side on the bed, no supports needed. There is a bit of overhang in the middle part of the wheel, but my printer handled it fine without supports. Overhangs on the pin are small and tapered, no support needed at all.
Use ABS or something like that due to the high temperatures inside of the dishwasher. If ABS is good enough for the plumbing drain pipes, I figured it is good enough for the wheel and pin.
The model of dishwasher that I have is Whirlpool GoldSeries. I assume Whirlpool uses the same wheel and pin combo on many of their other models, as why would then want to keep reinventing the wheel (← get the pun there :).
Anyway, it has been working great for me, hopefully it will work for you as well.
