Description

Added pictures using a metallic color changing PLA I had laying around with Bambu Labs black PLA-CF for the web. PLA-CF works really well for long bridge features!

First attempt at creating a ‘suspended’ model. Skull and frame were printed in Ziro Gradient PLA: Season-Winter. String grid in Sunlu Clear PLA (my favorite clear PLA). This profile is optimized to reduce color transitions between the grid and the rest of the parts so doesn't take forever to print. The grid layers, the frame, and the skull are exposed separately in the object list though so you can play with colors as you like.

Enjoy!

I will reprint it to try to get darker colors in front instead of in the middle, just like your print that looks awesome. But I loved mine as well. great design. Printed with Amole Silk Shiny

Would it be possible to get this in a file format other than .3ml? I can't open that in my Prusa slicer software but the design is beautiful!

Actually Prusa slicer is happy with 3mf but the 3mf from MakerWorld has some extra Bambu Studio info in it that Prusa doesn't understand so it balks. It's pretty easy to work around though. You'll need to first load the file in Bambu Studio then export it as a "Generic 3MF". Then just load the resulting 3mf in Prusa. Hope that helps.

Sorry to hear that. You should not have to change anything at all for it to work perfectly. I could likely help if you share a bit more detail. What was not working? Could you include a picture?

ill be giving it another go soon once the other prints are done but i will 100% show you what issues i was running into, i've ordered some silky/glittered filament to go with it so hopefully it will do it :)
