Description

I was in need of storing my out-of-season or training arrows somewhere and not have them everywhere spread around at my home. I normally would have done it using Wood, but since I underwent surgery just recently i opted to go with a 3D Printed variant.

My focus was to cover both my indoor (Easton RX-7) as well as my outdoor arrows, which mostly are Easton A/C/E's, Avance's and some cheapo Pandarus full carbon arrows at ID 4.2mm. Further i wanted it to be extendable, should i ever need to add different arrows.

I used mostly zip-ties to create good connections between the leg parts as well as connecting the horizontal parts with each other and arround the legs.

I printed everything in PLA with the standard 15% infill settings and i used 180mm zip-ties, connecting the horizontal plates to each other works also with shorter ones.

I usually printed 1 complete leg with all the parts, as well as the plates themselfes individually. Please note, for printing on a X1C, you need to “unblock” the reserved area on the headbed for the filament cutter (I used the guide from BambuLab: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/print-volume-limitations).

The plates are 250x250mm and the legs are 40x40 with plenty of space for arrows to be stored nicely.

I might add a smaller version, e.g. 200x200 later as well as plates with larger holes for the compound arrows, that can be even thicker than the recurve ones i shoot.

Any Feedback or suggestion are more than welcome.
