Description

I needed a way to easily tighten the guideline to a tent. I had a few 608 bearings laying around and decided to make a sort of snatchblock for the rope.

Printed fine with the profile included. You may want to add a brim due to the size of some of the parts. The pins fit tightly, but may require some super glue to make sure they stay in. You will need one 608 bearing per pulley.

Assembly:

install the small pins into the small piece with two holes

push the small pins into the small holes in the main body

push the bearing wheel over the outside of the bearing

push the big pin through the center of the bearing

install the bearing wheel into the big holes on the main body

Use a good non-slip know to tie the end of the pulley body to the stake or another soldily placed object. Run your guideline through the pulley and tighten the line down and tie off.

Please feel free to tag me if you have an update to this as it is my first design for this and I am sure there is room for improvement.

Next will be a double bearing set to increase pulling power.
