I took my popular slim poop chute and adapted it using feedback from the community. This updated model has a removable bin, no magnets, thicker walls, less infill, and a higher backstop so the purge can't fall out the back.
Most excellent!!
I have been searching off and on for a while now for a slim poop chute. None of my searches came up with anything I liked. I was on the verge of designing my own setup but decided to do one last search. Low and behold, this one came up as EXCATLY what I wanted and was going to design myself. You saved me a couple of hours of CAD work, thank you.
Now I push my X1C back up against the wall and regain valuable table space in front of my printer. And it's easier to empty the waste now. Compared to the previous chute/bucket I printed (https://makerworld.com/en/models/15350?from=search#profileId-18691)
EDIT: Added photo
Good print, it fits perfectly and it's super convenient. I suggest adding magnets on a new version so it stays in place, but so far it didn't move even without being attached. Thanks!
Overall, the design is fantastic. However, the roof-like piece is a bit too steep to print cleanly without supports and was prone to sagging filament on the base print profile. Functionally though, everything still works as intended.
I do all my print profiles as if they are printed in standard mode because sport mode is so violent. I wish there was a way to set silent mode at print start though.
