Just a cute lithophane lampshade I created for my aunt who is battling cancer.
I find printing at .2 layers on these lithophane lampshade is a good balance between speed and quality, but you can reduce layers if you have the patience. For this simple design I dont think finer layers will make much difference.
This was printed at .20 layers, classic walls, 99 walls 0% infill (all walls and no infill is the proper way to do lithophanes BTW), outer brim 10mm, make sure to turn off aux fan as it will cause the left side to lift brim is very important for this size , no support needed.
Most of my lithophane lamps average about 14-16 hours with my settings at standard speed. This one with simple graphics will take about 8.5hours per slicer.
These have a split collar that should fit most desk size lamps.
You can print just the lower part to test fit before commiting to whole lampshade if you prefer, but i have found this to fit most desk size lamps pretty well, if its too big you can make a little shim piece to go around the neck, but it should just slide over.
Recomended to use LED bulb low wattage to reduce heat warping 40w or less
