A simple tool made for adding magnets into a print in progress. Each end of the tool has an embedded magnet with a different polarity; one end is marked with a “+” and the other a “-”. For models that snapped together using magnets on each segment, making sure the polarity of the magnets are properly aligned is critical, especially when gluing them in. I made this simple tool after having to scrap a few prints with improperly aligned magnets and haven't had a mix-up since.
Fits two 5mm diameter, 2mm depth magnets, one on each end. Make sure both magnets have the same polarity facing upward when inserting them into the print. This ensures that each end of the tool will attract a different magnetic pole once it is completed.
