Description

So a while back I thought it would be funny to put a Venous fly trap in a warp pipe planter and make a real-life piranha plant. As it turns out, it was funny and actually looked pretty cool. When I made that design, I used my own warp pipe, and a block model that I downloaded from Printables, but had to maodify in Bambuslicer before I could print and use it. After that, I figured it would be cool to have moduler options, so a whole setting could be made from a Mario level for houseplants, but that didn't exist. So, I spent a few hours in DesignSpark and created this whole design from scratch. As stated in the title, the design is modular, but only from a 2D perspective, like in the classic Mario games. So, the standard warp pipe base block does not have modular pegs, the double-sided block has 2 pegs, along with slots on opposing sides, and the single-sided block has a modular hole on only one side, and one peg included in the file. The modular spacer has pegs and holes on 2 sides. The warp pipe spacer is in case you wish to make warp pipes of varying heights. It also includes pegs to hold the pipes together. The planters do have drainage holes in the bottom. Since the pipe is not attached to the bricks, they are easy to remove and clean as well. I will include pictures of the original model, as well as a digital workup of the modular version. I printed this using Hatchbox Magicstone filament for the bricks, and Inland silk green filament for the warp pipes.
