While preparing for the upcoming Solar Eclipse, I went looking for options to hold a solar filter onto the 95mm, Sony 200-600mm lens. There were no options that matched my requirements.

• Easily removable

So here is a very simple model that works well for my needs. No supports, standard .2mm profile works well, however I printed this in PETG-CF so the profile is adjusted accordingly.

The cover's fit is loose. This allows you to secure the filter between the two frames using tape, in my case gafer's tape, and get the cover to fit using friction.

It could be adapted to smaller lenses, should be easy to model a step down ring.
