Printing

Base w/ Magnets & Flag w/ Magnets

The print profile is set to pause at layer 20 to allow the insertion of the 6x3 magnets. The magnets have been defined as a negative space on the parts.

Make sure the polarity is the same for all magnets. A trick is to stack the magnets and press the stack into the holes one by one.

Note: To ensure good layer adhesion, make sure to insert the magnet and resume the print as quickly as possible.

Base w/o Magnets & Flag w/o Magnets

The magnets have been omitted from the labeled parts.

5

Finally, align with mailbox and mark the screw holes on the mailbox.

Plastic Mailbox Installation

Consider using an M3 heat insert to secure the M3 screws.

If you do not have M3 heat inserts, consider using shorter M3 screws and an adhesive tape.

Metal Mailbox Installation

Drill a hole slightly smaller than the M3 screw and gently screw the screws in until they thread into the metal.

If you do not wish to drill a hole in the mailbox, consider using shorter M3 screws and adhesive tape.
