Description

fits a 22" head

Magnets 9x2mm for the standard profile
10x2mm for the enlarged one.

Don't apply too much pressure and crack the mask if the magnets feel too snug.
If the magnet hole is a bit small, then use a lighter or soldering iron to loosen the hole.
I also use a drop of super glue for each magnet to ensure they stick.

The print was good. The inside of helmet did not print as smoothly, but I will cover with padding. Small gaps in the pieces that will require filler and sanding. The magnets opening was hard to insert ended up cracking the face mask. but overall it’s a good print. I will be reprinting this again in the second profile listed.

Too much resistance when applying the magnets, cracked the face plate. I will have to reprint face plate or putty sand and paint. Looked amazing when completed, annoyed I have to do extra steps to fix the problem. See Pictures

How do you scale for different head sizes? And part of the head would i measure? Around forehead section?

measure around the head at eyebrow level. to scale, I select all parts and click the resize icon on the top bar inside BambuStudio. Its important to size all parts or you end up with different sizes.

So all parts on one tray or all parts all trays? Which do I select? Or size all parts but just individually?I am sorry I am confused. so lets say i need a 25 inch one instead of the 22 inch in the profile (not saying i need that size cause havent measured yet ) What steps and what would i change mm, or percent in the resize bar and for x,y,or z? DO i keep uniform scale? I would love to print this for my son Just want to make sure i do it correctly since the time it takes to print

import all parts into Bambu studio (or open one of the uploaded profiles that have all parts), then on your keyboard, press "ALT" and "A" which will select every object in Bambu studio. then click the resize tool. you can use a free head model on Thingiverse by Budwin which he designed it to mimic real-life sizes. I use the head size that is meant for the 23' circumference, and I add it to the design before I print. That way I have a very slim chance of the wrong size.
