I wanted to design a lamp for my bedside table and came up with this. It reminds the family of a pineapple so we have always referred to it as the pineapple lamp. It is designed to hold a pendant cord set, I used the following
but the cord is super long, so feel free to try another, it just must be the kind that has the threads on outside of socket for the securing rings and must be sized for a regular bulb.
It will use both of the rings to secure it
Bottom is printed upside down, no rafts or supports, the shade prints with extra walls to make sure there is no infill in the sides of the shade. This design is NOT a vase mode print and as such you should choose a clear or translucent filament for the shade as it will be several walls thick. I used a clear “funfetti” for mine and love the way it turned out. I did not alter the speed or heat which creates a great diffusion for the light.
To assemble, screw one of the rings onto the socket with the flat side facing up, feed through bottom of lamp, hold in place, flip over, add shade, add 2nd screw ring with flat side facing down, and tighten to secure. I added a wifi multi color led bulb in mine! Enjoy
