Magnetic duct connectors for fume extraction when printing filaments such as ABS, ASA, or for laser cutters etc. Designed to fit standard 100mm duct hose and 110x54mm flat ducting.

Included in the files are connectors with and without a groove for an o-ring. The o-ring file included is designed to sit slightly proud of the face to ensure a good seal.

The magnets required are 10x5mm round and can be push fit in alternating directions around the connector. This means any two of the connectors can be joined together. The Magnets I used can be found here but any 10x5mm magnets should work.

The connectors can be attached to the ducting using standard PVC cement. The hose is held in place using a zip tie and duct tape to ensure a good seal.

The o-ring was printed in TPU 95A, with everything else being printed in PLA.
