A treehouse nestled in two trees. Is it a child's current favorite getaway, or a long forgotten memory. Either is possible by controlling how much support is created.
Profiles:
This was originally created using organic supports in PrusaSlicer. While Cura and Bambu Studio also support organic / tree supports, they generate different support structures. I have included a .3mf for each as a starting point to begin tweaking and exploring.
Printing:
Enable organic supports to build the trees and branches reach out to floating leaves. Project file and screenshot included with my support settings, but experiment with the settings to to see what you can create.
Painting on support blockers on the doors, windows, deck and roof can prevents tree overgrowth from overtaking the treehouse giving a more ‘actively used’ look. Without the blockers the trees can appear to be in the process of reclaiming an abandoned treehouse back to nature.
Updates:
v2 now includes a rock on the base to add better stability and surface area touching the bed. The rock is from Fernando Jerez's Rock Formation Generator found here: https://www.printables.com/model/390926
