Description

In Taiwan, the wave-reducing block is called "meat dumpling corner" in Taiwanese because it looks like a meat dumpling. As a popular slang, Xiaobo is nicknamed "Central Zongzi" (corresponding to northern steamed rice dumplings and southern boiled rice dumplings), which means "Don't provoke people you shouldn't provoke, otherwise you will be caught and made into Xiaobo." "Block" is similar to the urban legend from Japan's Showa era that "if you provoke the underworld, the soles of your feet will be filled with cement and thrown into Tokyo Bay to feed the fish." This kind of joking name originated from the urban legend on the Internet forum about a powerful person in Taichung who was a legislator: Taichung Ajiaotou once injured the second son of Bjiaotou. Later, the angler disappeared from the world and was killed. When discovered, it had become a wave-absorbing block. While this joke was used by Taiwanese netizens, it also made fun of B Jiaotou's underworld background. The eldest son B Jiaotou, who continued the family tradition and was elected as a legislator, initially couldn't accept it after learning about it through the media. However, he later discovered that this was a common language between himself and young people, and he also worked in reverse to launch related creative products.

In addition, because the wave-absorbing blocks are always arranged close to the coastline, Taiwanese netizens jokingly said that if a body is enclosed in a wave-absorbing block and abandoned, it will be like living in the "first row with a sea view." The word was originally a commonly used advertising slogan in real estate advertisements. Derived usages include "Listen to the sound of the sea crying", which was originally the lyrics of the famous song "Listen to the Sea" by singer Zhang Huimei.
