Description

Axial SCX 10.3 Jeep JLUR Rear Bumper

This is a remix of the original bumper. The reason for this remix is that the original did not match the dimensions of the SCX10.3 JLUR, I'm guessing it was modeled after the SCX 10.3 Gladiator; assuming that both models have same dimensions but the original was short by about 5-7mm on each side. This remix also has a hitch mount.

Accessories for this bumper:

There are currently 2 versions available:

  1. V1 - Use this version for the stock SCX10.3 JLUR
  2. V2 - Use this version if you have lifted the body of your SCX10.3 JLUR and you want the bumper to cover up some of the created gap. The V2 bumper will be about 4mm taller. It also has a 5mm slot for the license plate light. Note that the V1 will still work with a lifted body.

I have used PLA-CF for all of my prints of this bumper and it has lasted me quite a bit, I just recently broke my first bumper after about 10 hours of wheeling. Just be prepared that it will break eventually, the mounting posts are the weak links, and its not really possible to beef them up as they have to insert into the frame. If you do not want to worry about reprinting if it breaks, use nylon. I, also, recommend to use standard supports with default settings, it will be faster than tree supports and the bottom finish should look better.
