Description

Made these arm rests as a replacement for my Noblechairs Epic gaming chair. It should also work on other noblechairs products and possibly also some other brands (though you have to check on your own).

Use glue to combine booth parts.

I would recommend using different M4 screws as the the screws of the original arm rests can destroy this models threads. You can also use them without screws, as they clip in place quiet tight. with no wobble.

Print Settings

Base

For the base you can use some simple print settings, they shouldnt really make a large difference. I used the following settings:

  • Material: PLA or PETG
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Walls: 2
  • Support: Enabled
Top

After multiple prints i found out that a 5% infill density with the Gyroid infill pattern works the best. If you prefer a feel more like the original arm rests, i would recommend increasing the infill density to about 8%. I would recommend the following settings:

  • Material: TPU
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Steam position: Random
  • Walls: 1
  • Outer wall line width: 0.63mm
  • Infill density: 5% (or 8% if you like them a bit stiffer)
  • Infill pattern: Gyroid
  • Support: Enabled
  • Fuzzy skin: Contour
  • Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.2mm
  • Fuzzy skin thuckness: 0.1mm or 0.15mm
