I present to you something designed and constructed with more complexity and sophistication than is strictly necessary for its basic function, The Overengineered Shelf Bracket! Part of a Engineering Student's Competition, this little Bracket with only 24 grams (without all the supports) withstood around 50Kg of Pressure without breaking!!!

I can't figure out what is over engineered with it. I expected it to be more square and not so choppy.

Hey, thank you for the feedback. This Shelf Bracket was part of a engineering competition judged in terms of weight saving/load compliance so the asthetics was not the main goal.

super awesome and well designed. I printed several and now have a shelf near the ceiling of the room.

Other Issues:Model is not very clean, alot of supports are necessary so the look isnt very good
