Hello ! Welcome you to Foxwood. Inspired by the traditional Japanese woodworking technique known as Kumiko, I created this soap dish.
Kumiko, a traditional Japanese woodworking technique, serves as a profound source of inspiration for artisans and designers worldwide. Rooted in centuries-old craftsmanship, Kumiko involves meticulously assembling small wooden pieces to form intricate geometric patterns, creating visually stunning and structurally sound works of art. This technique, characterized by its precision and attention to detail, embodies the essence of Japanese aesthetics and cultural heritage. Beyond its inherent beauty, Kumiko holds deeper significance, symbolizing patience, perseverance, and a deep connection to nature.
Its easy to print in different colours to mix and match to suit your taste. The design consists of 3 seperate parts allowing for easy cleaning.
The dish has been designed without the need for support structures.
I printed them in Basic Bambu PLA and Overture
Print profiles There are two versions one for a larger bed size and one for the A1 Mini.
