unfortunately this is a very low poly game rip and the image pictured is a render of the Galactic Armory files. For the helmet from this user to come out as smooth as pictured you would need to apply a TON of post processing work, hours of sanding/filler/primer work before you could even begin to paint it.
Its pretty easy to fix in Blender. You just select all the sharp edges and mark them as a crease, apply a subdivision surface modifier to the model and tick the use creases box. This will smooth the surface without losing the sharp edges.
Blender is free and you can find video tutorials for what I've described on youtube, it will only take about an hour if you're new to blender, compared to the amount of sanding you would need to do if it was printed as it.
yeah I mean you can but this is a repository of 3D print files, shouldn't have to go through extra steps of downloading another program, learning that program, and then editing someone's files because they uploaded a low poly version
hey love the print but been having problems with the support on the sides of the helmet print even on slow settings the 2 small individual pieces are not able to support the piece before they are able to connect with the rest of the build I printed the mask out and that peace of the helmet looks good thank you for your hard work hope to get this fixed so I can be ready to help democracy.lol
