Description
I created this knob to replace the one on my campers vent fan. I printed it in PLA on a X1C. If you orient it with the flat part of the knob on the plate it should not need supports to print on the X1C.

Broke at the base of the shaft immediately.

Sorry to hear that. I have used mine for quite some time now and it is fine. You could try printing in ABS, ASA or Nylon for more strength.
