Description

I modeled this airless ball on the basis of the mathematical principles to contruct a homogeneous airless ball, only made by pentagons and hexagons. I uploaded two models, one with larger strings for a stronger print result and the other for a lighter ball, depending on your needs. Happy printing!

ps. note that the model in the picture is the lighter version

LIGHTER 0.12mm layer, 4 walls, 15% infill
Strength Issue:its about half the size of an actual ping pong ball, and its so fragile that even trying to pull the supports off of it, destroys it. idk if its a profile issue or a me issue, but it didnt work unfortunately

Hi, i managed to print mine and remove the supports without breaking it (the one in the pics of the model), but as i said in the description it is quite flimsy. You can try reducing layer height and use higher temps ofr stronger layer adehesion. Otherwise go for the stronger model, probably depends on the PLA you used, too
