It works. I printed it at a local library. I sanded it. With 320, primed it with pvc pipe purple primer. Then I painted it with plasti-dip spray.

Material used for finishing. The finish is not perfect, but this watch is 12 years old and it blends. The rubberized plasti-dip matches the reflectivity of the G-shock body. I kept dipping the parts in the primer and allowing it to dry then doing it again until the part was coming out of the primer without immediately developing inconsistent dry spots. I did 5 coats of plasti-dip over 24 hours, and allowed the final coat 8 hours of dry time. None of the plasti dip came off while wrestling the pins through the piece, trying to get the pins (attached to the piece) into the watch body, or pulling through the 22m strap.

Nice, thank you for your feedback. Also I am quite happy to see that even my first version of the adapter found a use since I only use the second design. If you are happy with my models, please consider boosting, it took quite some work to model them :)

1) thank you for sharing. 2) I am so new to this that I have no idea what boosting is. 3) I utilized an iPhone mini to navigate this site. I thought I downloaded the newest design. I would recommend that shared models that are on the same page with multiple versions be named with the version # at the start of the name. Otherwise screen formatting, font size, orientation can turn all the details into an ellipses. 3.1) The barrier is now so low that unreasonably stupid things are possible(Using just the smallest screen possible to get from start to finish). I really can be this dumb. I clicked download on this website, then clicked upload on my county library’s website, and 4 days later I picked them up. That was my barrier to entry. I know nothing about the “basics.” The plasti dip is doing very well. There has been no flaking or chipping. I didn’t test the plasti dip without the primer, so I don’t know if that makes a difference but with the primer it is exceeding my expectations.
