These small rods can be used to stabilize an IKEA FJÄLLBO shelf against a wall. One potential application could be to minimize wobbling, especially if the shelf is holding a 3D printer (as depicted in the attached images).

The model consists of two components:

• The rods: These secure the shelf against the wall.
• The shafts: These are inserted into the rods to affix them to the shelf. While their use is optional, they enhance the sturdiness of the connection between the shelf and the rod.

Installation:

1. Carefully insert the thinner end of the rod into the existing hole at the back of the shelf; please note that the rods can be brittle.
2. (Optional) Insert the shaft into the upper hole of the rod.
3. (Optional) Adhere a 28mm felt pad at the base of the rod for added wall protection and shock absorption.
4. Push the shelf against the wall.
    

💡Tip: Calibrate the printer again after the installation of the rods `Settings > Maintenance > Calibration`
