Description

Modern shower head

Here is a modern design for a shower head.

The connection thread is 1/4 inch

Printing best in PETG

Assembly:

The shower ring is mounted on the cone of the handle with a little glue. It is best to screw the threaded piece into the handle using a little adhesive.

Insert a standard seal to connect the handle to the hose.

I have been using the shower head myself for a few weeks now and it works perfectly.

PS: you can find the shower head holder on the photo at ThreeD-Michael

This part after the slicer will have some issues, but they can be fix by a Windows service.

Printed in Prusament Galaxy Black PETG filament on a Prusa MK4 I printed each part separately. I used 0,2 mm layer height as I think that 0,15 layer height is overkill when using PETG. I used 15% gyroid infill in every part other than the head. In fact, Prusaslicer refused to create infill to that part which is good because infill would block water flow! Works well and delivers DeLuxe showering experience :)

Printed in overture ASA, tolerances are pretty good. (sorry for the poor photos)

printed 3 times in PLA needs more neck options for different show styles.

Hi, PLA is not the right material for the shower head, because it is not so heat-resistant. You should print it in PETG and it is also important to print it in good quality, i.e. 0.12 high quality.
