Description

***This is for the older style AMS***

I made a remix of the original “Sturdy Bambu Lab AMS Stand” by Alpha M. I felt like this stand could be just as sturdy without burning through so much filament. I added hexagonal holes in a pattern all across the stand. This reduces the amount of filament it takes to print the stand from around 1,000g down to around 700g. Saving a bunch of material for other prints. I also made a few other minor tweaks to it to improve overall quality and function. I made the tolerance on the connecting hooks more forgiving to improve ease of assembly as well. As Alpha M suggested in the original model, it is best to print this upside down in order to reduce support material. This can be printed on one build plate, and I have included the profile I used to do so. Enjoy!

printed nicely less then 24h. The part which I love about this stand is that it’s ends up being a one solid unit, plus you have a homeycombs all over it, so you can design tool holders on a side.

i would give 5 Stars but the System wont let me. i printed it in petg for this case the overhangs in every honeycomb are too big.

perfect! I do wonder if normal supports would make the print time quicker, but the tree supports worked out just fine. works as advertised.
