poor quality and even with calibrated filament and small layers, layer lines are horrible, color changes are rough, very hard to close, doesn’t fully line up and overall not a great print.

Print profiles don't control layer lines and "rough" color changes. Those are printer specific problems. You also obviously scaled it up, so you clearly altered the print profile anyways.

Scale also will not make a difference. when it looks awful and has the same imperfections as the photos you posted, there is an issue with the model, not the printer or settings, especially if changes were made.

These are your own photos, and if that is not a rough color change and poor layer lines, then we shave seriously different opinions.

Printing was fine. Biggest issue was closing the thing. It was difficult and it came close to breaking. Once closed you cannot rotate it at all so make sure the green dots are not 'lined up'. Mine are and it no longer looks 'random'. Besides that caveat there is nothing wrong with the model.

It looks beautiful, but it's really hard to close, and if you are able to close it, it's impossible to open without breaking it

So far, super! You need to scale the bottom side down by 1mm, otherwise it's hard to open and close. Threads would be better in this case, otherwise top
