The Temple of Heaven ( 天坛) is a complex of imperial religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. The model presented here is called Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (祈年殿) in this complex. It is built on marble stone base, where the Emperor prayed for good harvests. The building has a height of 36m.
I designed the model with 1:140 ratio and try to keep the fine details based on the printer resolutions. The hall has three-tiered circular structure, with each level having its own roof and base that can be printed separately. All the parts from top to bottom are connected using the square pins.
For Assembling different levels, make sure to align the pillars at each level:
For Bottom base, there are three sides with doors and 7 sides with windows. Make sure the three sides with windows put at front to align with the name board on top level. Also, align the middle door with the base stairs.
I used the Bambu lab PLA (red matte, blue, ice blue and gold) to print this model. The base is recommended to print with marble PLA.
