Description

Part of the Filament Swatch System.

This is a frame of 20 samples displaying fuzziness at different point distance (0.1mm to 0.9mm from top to bottom) and thickness (0.1mm to 0.7mm from left to right).

This 3MF works by splitting the model into separate parts and printing each part with different settings, so will only work in Bambu Studio. I have attached the original STL where the blocks are literally filled in panels, so you can play with splitting it into parts and setting different settings for each object if you like.

This one was difficult because fuzzy skin only applies to walls not top surfaces, so the frame had to be printed upright. I added supports each side to hold it upright and in place, but they hold the frame with easy breakaway dots, so it removes with no fuss.

I wanted to build a system for displaying the BambuLab Swatches and other useful printing samples by hanging them from by reprack style filament storage solution. So as well as this fuzziness frame, I have made two frames for infill patterns (here and here), a frame to hold bambu standard swatches, hooks to hang the frames from reprack style pipe filament storage, and rings to present the frames in way that can be flipped through.

The frames all have small spaces under the tile so that a label can be printed and stuck on. I use Niimbot labels that are 12mmx22mm.
