Description

Disclaimer:

The current version may be a bit tight around the connectors or a bit too loose. Apart from that the model should be fully functional and if you experience difficulties with the dimensions, just leave me some feedback. Thank you very much!

Description

Hey everyone, this is my second model that I ever uploaded but my most complex until today, so I hope you won't be too harsh ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

But nonetheless I hope you can give me some feedback on how I designed this model.

This SpaceX Starship Miniature Model is designed as a kit card, so it can be easily shared as a gift. It also makes fun assembling it, so I think making a kit card out of the model is a bit more interactive, than just printing the complete model as one piece. The design was mainly inspired by this Reddit post and some pictures from the internet. It isn't meant to be a one to one copy of the original thing but it is meant to be a more minimalistic and simplified version of the original upper part of the Starship.

Print Settings

  • 0.2/0.1 mm Layer Height (Variable Layer Height possible, to get smoother curves on the main rocket body but to still save some printing time)
  • 0.3 mm First Layer (I almost always print my models with this as a setting so it may not be necessary but I print it like that)
  • No Brim (Shouldn't be necessary)
  • No Supports should be needed (but can be used for some cleaner curves)
  • Everything else doesn't really matter so use your favorite settings for the rest
