Description

The cover page of the book “3D Printed Science Projects” showcases an exquisite camellia flower model. Notably, the petals of this model exhibit an impressive 70-degree overhang.

Kudos to the authors of the book.

Really nice! printed with PLA galaxy. dont look at the print half way, it looks like the middle will be a mess.. it looks really bad. just wait! in the end it will all work out.

It started off ok but then it randomly started printing in the middle when there was nothing there. Is there a particular way to print it

Thank you for sharing. This artifact is because complex geometry with 0% infill. You can try one of the following options: 1. Close your eyes and allow the print to complete; it should turn out fine. 2. Adjust the 0% infill to a 5% lighting or gyroid infill for improved interior support. 3. Use OrcaSlicer, which will create an internal bridge in this model, and get better interier stability.

as someone else has said..you definitely need to persevere with this print...at the beginning it does look as if it's gone wrong....but the finished item is lovely. printed on P1p generic plac

Thank you for the sharing. The middle messy part is a result of having 0% infill. Glad to hear the finish is great.

Turned out nicely. Unfortunately there were some issues regarding the lack of infill.
