Cool print. The hinge was a little small. so put glue on outside to hold it in.

Came out great. Son loves it.
I had a little issue with it closing flush but I think that's down to my assembly of the spots.
May be worth adding some location/alignment nubs to a version 2 model if you ever do one to make assembly easier.

how do you go about securing the hinge so it stays together? it’s too big for a piece of the filament even two pieces

Hm odd... Did you scale it ? For me it was a tight fit but It worked. Otherwise you could also try to heat up everso slightly the plastic to soften it a bit.

no I printed as is straight from the profile provided. the 1.75mm filament is too small to be the hinge. I may try to create my own

La pieza que une la base y la tapa tuve que imprimirla por separado, ya que la impresión inicial no permitió que quedara óptima. Por otro lado los círculos que decoran el huevo quedan un poco más altos que la superficie del huevo, creo que fue así la intención. El resultado es bueno aunque la tapa queda muy pesada y el huevo abierto tiende a perder un poco el equilibrio. Mi hija quedó feliz ya que ahora puede guardar con estilo sus juegos.
