I designed a Controller for my Genmitsu 4040pro cnc.

The project based on this video/design ( https://community.element14.com/challenges-projects/element14-presents/project-videos/w/documents/4616/diy-shapeoko-cnc-pendant----episode-420) The author used teeny lc board, i adopted the code for arduino pro micro.

Top 3 buttons has a selection for the 3 axises with leds on the top which one is active (X,Y,Z)

Bottom 4 buttons has a selection for 4 different speed setting, same with led feedback(Fast, 1mm, 0.1mm, 0.01mm)

I used the following components

Ardiono pro micro (LINK)

60mm Pulse encoder (LINK)

5mm Leds (LINK)

7mm push buttons (LINK)

Generic usbc to usba cable
