Description

I have designed a 3D model of a patio door lock bar support, as these components can sometimes break and are very simple to produce with a 3D printer. By creating a 3D model, I can easily print replacements or even improve upon the original design to enhance durability and strength. This not only offers a cost-effective solution but also ensures that the supports are more resilient than the original ones, providing better security and longevity for patio doors.

A patio door lock bar support serves as a crucial security feature for homes and businesses. This simple yet effective device is designed to reinforce the locking mechanism of a patio door, providing an additional layer of protection against unauthorized entry. By securely holding the lock bar in place, the support prevents the door from being easily forced open or tampered with. This not only deters potential intruders but also gives homeowners peace of mind, knowing that their property and loved ones are better protected. Additionally, a well-designed support can blend seamlessly with the door's aesthetics, ensuring that safety does not come at the expense of style.

I did the .3mf in PrusaSlicer for an Ender 3 V2, the print profile was for a 0.6mm nozzle, but there is no problem changing it for a 0.4mm nozzle. The fact that the model is quite slim (4mm for the STL, but change to 2mm for the .3mf) it is suggested to print it full.
