Well whats a desk without a cigar ashtray, and how will you ever survive without a cigar after coffee and breakfast ?

PETG could be used, the ashes will not destroy the plastic, however if you drop a glowing cigar in the tray it will leave a mark... so perhaps a more heat resilient filament is optimal :-)

I printed this with ASA for heat resistance and it works really well. The end of a cigar gets more than hot enough to melt ASA, but it has to be in direct contact for several seconds before it starts to deform the ASA; having the cigar just resting where it's supposed to doesn't transfer enough heat to the material to melt it. And since you don't put out a cigar like you do a cigarette, it's not going to get direct contact on purpose.
