Description

Update: I have added a recut blade for the A1 Mini's build height restrictions. The tallest portion is 175mm which tested as acceptable by Bambu Studio. I have no way of testing a profile since I do not own an A1 Mini. A profile is included in the raw files but not published as a profile due to this restriction.

New version of my interchangeable blade Master Sword. This one is child sized and child friendly. All sharp edges have been rounded over up 4mm. The grip has been shortened 40mm for smaller hands.

The blade is still removable in case it is damaged and can be easily replaced. It has been dulled and shortened as well. Use the jewel to hold the blade in place.

The wrap on the grip has been upgraded with a spiral track for less play while installed.

Glue is necessary for assembly but will ensure a very strong model.

Print with over 4 walls or more for a much strong sword. Infill isn't as necessary for strength. Supports are needed for cross guard portion.

First off thanks so much the files are amazing and pri t is definitely out this world good, for some reason every time I print the blades tho there is a weird area where they connect and the wings of the cross guard keeps printing with those hangs, any help would be great

The cross guard really needs supports on the inside. I believe I have that enabled in the profile but I am away from my computer and can not check. The gaps in the blade maybe slight print defects/variations in filament. You could try printing the joiners a bit shorter to overcome that or sand them down a bit since they will be hidden.

tout c'est bien imprimé, mais il y a un problème d'ajustement pour la poignée, je vais devoir poncer 2mm pour éviter le décalage.

Mine is the same way. Were you able to fix yours?

It was a little overextrusion inside the handle, it came out well and stuck perfectly.

The print turned out great and was easy to assemble. I did have to sand down the connection pieces a bit to allow for a tighter connection between the blade pieces.

In the end it turned out incredible, thank you for the design, however it took a lot of sanding on the blade connection pieces due to tolerance issues, I'll consider that a filament issue on my part, also the green handle wrap was really rough to print, took 5 tries with different settings and 3 different filaments. I did eventually get the wrap printed at like 30mm/s with a huge 14mm brim on it, but getting it on took all my strength

Tips for printing the wrap: * print at 0.16mm layer height for better overhangs (see photo) * add a brim to stop it falling over I printed in Bambu Oxide Green Metallic. Preset: "0.16mm High Quality" - fixes overhangs Brim type: Outer and inner - Brim width: 15 mm Brim-object gap: 0 Elephant foot compensation: 0 (if the above isn't enough) Retraction Length: 0.4mm (Filament Settings -> Setting Overrides, default is 0.8mm) - not model specific, but I need this to eliminate pitting in silks and metallic filaments)
