I love Halloween, and 3d Printing! Bambu Lab have made 3d printing a consumer hobby, so I wanted to take that concept further using AI to generate an image, HueForge to model it, and my P1S to print it using one AMS and 4 Bambu filaments.
The image came from BING IMAGE CREATOR using the text prompt “Halloween with Jason Vorhees, Freddie Kruger, Michael Myers, and Ghostface”. (your milage may vary). Four image options were generated. I selected this one where they have swapped masks etc which I found quite humorous.
The JEPG was imported into HueForge where I colourised it using the settings shown in the Hueforge screenshot:
After importing the STL you will need to:
Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm
Filaments Used:
PLA BambuLab Matte Charcoal Transmission Distance: 0.7
PLA BambuLab Matte Dark Red Transmission Distance: 1.5
PLA BambuLab Basic Orange Transmission Distance: 10
PLA BambuLab Matte Ivory White Transmission Distance: 4
Swap Instructions:
Start with Charcoal
At layer #5 (0.48mm) swap to Dark Red
At layer #12 (1.04mm) swap to Orange
At layer #16 (1.36mm) swap to Ivory White for the rest.
Printed in 3-4 hours. The actual print is much more impressive than the photo.
You can use any filaments of similar colours you have on hand, but the results may vary!
