Description

these are the files needed to make the base plate. the base plate needs to be 6mm+ thick.

step 1: import elegoo phecda base plate.dxf in your software and divide it into the 4 plates and cut all lines.

step 2: glue the 4 parts together in the correct position

step3: add the base plate feet holders, and place the phecda on them so it is fixed in place

step4: home your phecda so it is in X0XY position.

step5: import elegoo phecda base plate holes-grid layer.dxf in your software and make sure the corner is in X0Y0. cut the holes and engrave the lines & text.

step 6: enjoy!

if someone made the project in lightburn please share it with me, i will add it to the files.

also share your findings, feedback and photos!

this baseplate is huge. even chunked into 4 parts each part is 300x300. do you have any way to make the install more simple? seems like a lot of wasted wood or plastic to dock a few feet and align.

i made it this big to accomodate for the phecda enclosure to fit over it in a fixed position. this way the Y-axis cable chain has enough space to move inside the enclosure. i could make a smaller version if you'd like
