Description

We had collected a large number of take out boxes from our local Thai. They were good quality plastic with clear lids so we kept collecting them figuring they'd be good for storage. But we never did anything with them. Then my wife got into beading and needed to sort out large numbers of beads into containers that wouldn't spill. And so these were born:

Stacking containers (originally for Thai take out boxes) by adriangarside - MakerWorld

Which led to this model which is a stackable shelf unit size to fit our Thai take out boxes trying to be sparing on filament but also rigid. The model has a top cover that has holes in the side to allow you to attach units together horizontall for increased rigidity. There isn't an included peg yet since I found that the best size is very dependent on how dimensionally accurate the filament+printer+tuning is (and mine wasn't well tuned at the time). So I figure it's best if you can print a simple rectangular peg in the slicer and adjust for a tight but not excessively tight fit for your printer. The peg should be ~19 mm long (holes are 10mm deep each side) and printed horizontally for best strength.

Our Thai take out boxes were:

~229mm long

~158mm wide

~61mm tall

Your mileage may vary. You should be able to scale the model in the printer to compensate for some difference in take-out box dimensions.
