Description
The Snap-In-Place Release Button
Finally a PTFE tube release button for the AMS Hub that stays in place after removing the tube! Thest buttons snaps into the AMS Hub Housing, making it very simple to remove the PTFE filament tubes from the AMS Hub. No more searching for that lame release tool!

Besides switching the material to BBL ABS Red, I use the set-up as is, and the print sticks well and prints nicely. No oozing, no stringing and the parts are solid. Excellent job, good model. Ops, Here is a pic...

love the idea, but I needed a brim and the parts are a bit weak.

No brim needed if you use a PEI Textured plate properly cleaned and prepared with BL glue stick. Neither are they weak if you use a quality PLA or PETG that has been dried and your printer is dialed in.

standard profile; it fits, seems to hold "ok". I'd maybe make the wider part that goes in 1/2 or 1/4th mm thicker.
Happy to test if you make the adjustment.
For now; It'll work and it's 98% perfect.
(didn't clean up the object but it's a non issue; 3 seconds of work)

the buttons are a little loose in the hub. those that are not in use often fall out when touched slightly. luckily, I almost never have to use them, so the loose hold is okay.
